Was happy with primary Doctor (Majd) & previous experiences however had an appointment today & after waiting 5 minutes (no one was at the desk), I was told at check in that the Doctor was running late. I was 10 min late but had called 30 min prior to inform them & was told "that's just fine". At check in, the only option I was given was to wait 1.5 hours for a "squeeze in"... So why was I not called to be notified the Doctor was running late anyway, nor why my appointment was now cancelled?! Although I was told 10 minutes was "just fine" makes no sense. Clearly the staff is unorganized & unprofessional. Initially I was happy & comfortable but unfortunately now am looking to find another office with better customer service, organization & a Doctor that has better availability.

I wish I could give 3 stars but at this point it’s not possible. The clinic as a whole is not bad. But my primary Dr. Ferrer has dodged me repeatedly. Won’t fill prescriptions, won’t call me back, won’t give me the referrals I need. I actually just found out from another doctors office that I was given a referral to a neurosurgeon after 6 weeks of waiting but I was never informed. He wrote it 2 weeks ago or something but nobody told me. No letter, nothing. Worst primary EVER!!! Please don’t use him. I have had to pay for prescriptions and X-rays which I’ve never had to do. I have good insurance too! Getting out of his network ASAP. Btw I broke my leg in 2 places and broke my neck and had 8 hours of surgery. This is not the doctor you want if you get in a major accident. Maybe if you get the flu he’ll give you some medicine.

I think I may possibly have the very best Primary Physician I've ever had and anyone out there could even hope to have. I'm actually a bit reluctant to even spread the word for fear she'll be so booked up I'll never be able to get in to see her myself! Seriously, Doctor Amy Magnuson is the best doctor anyone could ever hope to find. She's so cheerful and warm and smart. She definitely has it all going on for her. I've been going to Scripps now for a little over a year after relocating from the Bay Area and finding all new doctors is a challenge indeed! I didn't have much success upon arriving here and not really knowing anyone so I could network etc so it took a bit of time but the time and effort I put into finding not just a good Primary but a GREAT one was my 3rd time was a charm time for me. I love her! In fact I really have had a fantastic experience with just about everyone I've met there. There's a lot of good people there that really care!!! And I'm so happy to know that I have a doctor now that I can count on to provide me with everything I could hope for! It's pretty intimidating to make a huge move at 63 years old and find all new doctors particularly when excellence is essential. Thank you Dr. Magnuson and my thanks to Scripps. I'm happy to be on board.

Scripps Cedar is awesome.  All my experiences with various doctors has been excellent.....that includes urgent care, the labs and my great primary doctors.  If complainers are complaining about "waiting to long", they are probably whining about the walk-in urgent care on the first floor or their regular doctor had to attend to an emergency situation...it happens!!

Although I have no complaints about the service I received here I'm very appalled at the cost that they charged me for an urgent care visit, and the fact that the cost was hidden from me until days after the visit.

At the front desk I was told that I would need to pay a $100 cash deposit in order to be seen, and that the visit would likely not cost much more than that - especially since, because I don't have insurance, they would apply a 40% discount. At no point would they tell me how much I was going to be charged.

As it turns out, full price for a basic urgent care visit is well over $500! After the discount was applied I still owed around $325... just to be seen by a doctor who did some very basic tests like hitting my knee with a hammer and maybe 15 minutes worth of asking me questions.

I didn't even want urgent care but the operator that I got on the phone told me that the only way that I could be seen in any reasonable amount of time was to go to urgent care, which didn't open until 2pm.

I'm outraged at the cost of this visit and I will never, ever go to a Scripps facility again.
