I used to go to the scrub store in the Northtown Plaza on Sheridan.  They had a great selection and always had my size.  I walked into this store and it was SO cramped.  I knew what I was looking for.  My favorite brand of scrubs is Koi.  I was walking around for a few minutes seeing what I could find.  The ONE associate working was busy helping a girl in the fitting room.  She finally acknowledged me.  I asked her if they carried the Koi brand.  She said no.  She said they no longer carried the brand.  I said I was really disappointed.  She said as soon as the brand was removed, people were asking for them. I asked her if they carried anything comparable, she said no.  I looked some more and found some that were like Koi.  I held up a pair of the pant and said "These are like Koi."  She said "Oh yeah, I didn't even think about those ones.".  I'm sure the girl she was helping, will send a fantastic review, because the associate was completely focused on her.  So, i continued to look for something i would like.  I work at an animal hospital and my scrubs take a BEATING!  In the past week, I got dragged across the floor on my knees by a 80 pound dog and got some bleach spray cleaner on another pair.  Two pairs down in one week!  I had told the associate that I needed pants that were a tough material.  She was able to make a recommendation or two, but nothing very helpful.  I managed to find a few things on my own.  However,  there were VERY FEW patterned tops to choose from.  Ok, fine.  I do like a set of matching scrubs that look nice together.  I found pants I liked, and there were no matching tops in my size.  I kept putting pairs of pants back and selecting other ones, because there were no tops to go with them.  I got so frustrated, I put what I had in my hands on a rack, and left the store.  The associate did tell me to have a nice day after I was already through the door.  It was a very frustrating experience.  I LOVED the other store.  They had SO many brands and styles, it was hard for me to choose!  I guess I am going to have to hope for the best at Wal Mart and order from Amazon.
