Story

A brand new and exciting pediatric dental practice in Bluffton! We specialize in dentistry for infants, children, teens and all children with special health care needs. The office will be open on select Saturdays and times convenient for after school appointments. Dr. Shane Harpham completed 4 years of dental school at West Virginia University and completed 2 additional years of Pediatric training as the Chief Resident at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. This practice is fantastic.  Dr. Shane is very knowledgeable and super friendly.  The staff is always smiling and helpful too.  The environment is clean and entertaining to kids while still maintaining a somewhat "adult" atmosphere.  They also understand the proper way to manage a practice and the wait time is minimal.  This is imperative to ones with little kids as they don't have the patience to wait around and our days are busy going from one thing to the next.  I only wish the pediatricians around here could learn how to manage time better and take a page from Dr. Shane's book!  We are new to South Carolina and Sea Smiles has made us feel right at home.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Shane and his staff! While on vacation in Hilton Head my 3 1/2 year old daughter fell and knocked out a tooth and had another hanging. Being from NJ we didn't know where to go, but luckily we went to Sea Smiles and are forever grateful to them. Our daughter needed a tooth pulled, x-rays and to get cleaned up after her fall, and Dr. Shane and his staff could not have been nicer or more kid friendly! They put on her favorite movie, kept her (and all of us) calm, and stayed open late to help us! Having come straight from the beach and with our daughter bleeding and crying we were a site for sore eyes, but Dr. Shane really made us all feel better.  At the end of the visit he gave my daughter a special stuffed animal and truly put her at ease. The staff was wonderful with following up with instructions for taking care of the extraction and sending x-rays up to NJ. Thank you Dr. Shane and Sea Smiles!

Dr. Shane and his staff have been great with my children.  My son had a difficult experience prior to seeing Dr. Shane and had some anxiety, but Dr. Shane and his staff were able to put him at ease.   We love Sea Smiles and recommend it to everyone.

Dr. Shane and staff are great!!! We feel welcome each visit and my daughter loves him. Really miss the Beaufort office though😟

Dr Shane and every member of the staff always make each trip to the dentist a smooth and pleasant experience for the children as well as us parents. Looking forward to seeing the new offices being built. There's a reason they are expanding. Their special care to each patient and informative process for parents is the reason we recommend everyone we know switch to this practice.
