This was a very small aquarium that cares more for entertainment than conservation. I found most of the exhibits livable, but I didn't like the alligator exhibit, and Pacific regal blue tangs need very large tanks with just one male and some females, because they like space. Not only that, the great white shark statue at the entrance is hideous. Everything else was fine. The common marmosets are capable of being happy in indoor exhibits, and they had enrichment, the company of fellow marmosets, and tree branches to play around on. The reptiles here had appropriately sized exhibits. I know a lot of people don’t like small animal attractions, but if the attraction in question has enough space for the animals and is making sure they are happy, I’m fine.

Discovered this aquarium about a year or two ago. We had walked by it many times but had not realized it was an actual aquarium. The employees are very kind and I can tell they have good intentions for the animals there. However, the employees can only do so much given their resources and means of caring for the animals. The animals are all in very small enclosures. The alligators are apparently only fed pellets (pellets are fine but only as supplemental feeding). The piranhas and other sea life are certainly in tanks that are too small. Many of their sea life also don't breed in captivity, therefore they were taken from their natural habitat. Lastly, but most certainly not least, when we visited last night, one of their common marmosets had what appeared to be some sort of spinal or leg injury, and was in a lot of pain. The poor thing had a terrible limp and was hunched in an extremely uncomfortable way, sitting in its own urine. We alerted the employee on duty of the issue, which they were unaware of prior. They said they would contact whoever was in charge of getting the animals medical attention. I want to make it clear that I DO NOT blame any of the employees, as they can only do so much, and I can tell they do truly care about the animals. It's just a shame that the owner doesn't seem to care as much as the employees do.

Thought it wasn't really worth the $9.00 admission. The aquarium is pretty small. You could actually walk through in about 15 minutes. Not too much to see really. Staff was pretty pleasant and friendly. You could touch the starfish and stingrays. The rest of the exhibits are enclosed. Wish it was bigger and more to see. Even though when you pay your admission they stamp your hand so you have access to the aquarium throughout the day, once you been there once not really much of a desire to go back.
