Rated a one because  the tech missed two appointments without any phone calls before he finally showed up for the third.  
Terrible call center customer service.  

Tech himself was fine, and fixed the unit.

This is a total scam.  Sears is going thru bankruptcy. They have created some business “referral” model for quick $. Waited 4 MONTHS for appointment only to have them cancel 3 times. I’m pretty sure the “sears” name has really nothing to do with this.

Today I had an appointment to have the heating coil in my range replaced. Because I have the service projection plans, Sears has the model & serial numbers of the appliances I have purchased from them plus I had described the problem in detail when I initially set up the repair appointment.  The technician arrived only to advise me that he had to order the part!  He should have had the part on his truck!  Now the part will arrive within a week via UPS, and I have to wait nearly another 3 weeks to have the replacement coil installed!  I would not feel so dissatisfied if there were other issues that required diagnosis, but to arrive without the part which was cleared described it an outrageous inconvenience and waste of my time and that of the technician.  For the past 30+ years, I have purchase all my household appliances from Sears, but after this experience, I am unlikely to do so again. What an inefficient system!

They make it impossible to call the store. You spend hours on the phone with a stupid machine that won't understand anything you say except about appliance repairs, then you'll get transferred to some national answering service, who'll either give you the number you already called, or once they transferred me to a store in some city I've never heard of. I gave up completely.

Washer was supposedly fixed for a leak. Tried it for the first time after the "repair" and it leaks worse and completely flooded my garage.
