Always understaffed even with the back to school season. There was only one cashier at each checkout stand despite there being quite a few customers present which meant long lines just to pay. Also saw a manager or supervisor talking to the employees at the checkout stand with an attitude that looked like it upset them afterwards... there are better ways to talk to your employees on how to improve their work. That's probably why there's not a lot of employees working here... because of how the manager treats them! The two stars go for easy to find products and good customer service with the cashier.

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced!! Pleasant in tone, but had no idea why sending an item to Mississippi wouldn't reach me outside of Seattle! They ordered item for me and used incorrect address. Then tried to correct the situation by calling dispatch to have the driver make the delivery - this dispatch was in Mississippi! The driver called me again, we both knew that they had no idea how far Washington and Mississippi are apart. So I got my washer and dryer with the stacking kit from Home Depot! Sorry, not sorry Sears! It used to be a source of pride to have a Sears credit card. My how things have changed.

Horrible customer service with a smile. Went to their furniture section and saw a chair I liked. All of the employees seem to conglomerate on this floor to socialize and do nothing. One guy sat right by us (I thought he was a customer) and said he took his breaks there. 3 other ladies INCLUDING THE MANAGER could NOT tell me the price of the chair, if they had it in stock or when they could sell it to me! Sears is in BIG trouble if their sales staff don't sell their products. Wouldn't you say? Seeing ungrateful millennials stand around not doing their job is sickening. I've been in sales for over 30 years. I can't imagine treating a valid customer like this. So they called yet another manager over who had no clue how to find out the price of the big recliner. She left me and my family sitting for 15 minutes while she figured out nothing at all. She took my phone number and wouldn't you know, I never got a call back. It's been a week. Good luck Sears, looks like you are going out like all the other retail stores. We did not have this experience in their appliance dept last year however. So this review is limited to all the schleps on the furniture floor. They get 2 stars for at least being friendly. We bought our frig and dishwasher there in the last two years. Don't buy samsung frig! It's noisy and counter depth can't open the door unless it's sticking out of the counters four inches. The door hinges are designed poorly. The ice maker brought out technicians four times.What a pain in the butt. Eventually they got it somewhat fixed, but it's slow. Standing there listening to it grind out basic ice when you are thirsty blows. Even the technicians said samsung was the worst. "they make good electronics but not refrigerators" said two technicians in agreement.

My experience was great. The sales clerk was charming and helpful. She said it was her third day on the job. However, she forgot to remove the antique theft device, so now I have the problem of returning to Sears to get a to get it removed!

I have had to wait in line for over half an hour 2 times in a row to buy one thing. I am sick of their customer service. When I was looking for the item I was buying I saw 3 employees chatting with no line in the cash register area. Then when a line starts up, all except one employee magically disappear. Will not shop here again.
