Story

Full service pet store open since 1975 offering a wide variety of Fresh and Saltwater Fish, Corals, and Invertebrate's, Small Animals, Birds, Reptiles and Amphibians. We also carry a wide variety of Dry goods for all your needs including Orijen Dog and Cat Food, Merrick Dog Food, and Fussie Cat Canned Food. We sell a wide variety of tanks and can order custom acrylics, we also offer pond and tank maintenance services with some of our accounts going back 20+years! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Yesterday I noticed one of their birds looked injured, and I notified the lady at the front desk. She didn't seem to be very concerned, but I waited to see how they could help the bird. She eventually told me that a vet would come by that afternoon so I left. Today, I called to get and update to make sure that bird was properly taken care of. However, the lady who anwered the phone told me that I would have to "take their word for it" and they were "too busy" to give me an update because there were customers downstairs. She did say that a vet came by yesterday, but I heard a womans voice in the background say "say the vet is here now". Not only was this interaction incredibly RUDE, but I do not believe that this pet store cares about the condition of their animals. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

UPDATE: I went in the store considering they were too busy for me on the phone. I went solely to make sure the bird was ok, but events unnecessarily esclated; before I had the chance to say anything, a lady proceeded to scream at me (with other costumers present) for writing this review (which is well within my rights to describe the experience I had regaurdless of the fact that I don't know them personally or "what they've been through"). She repeatedly told me I know nothing about animals, she said that she didn't care if other costumers heard her yell, and she wasn't going to let me say anything. Instead of reassuring me that the bird was ok, (in which case I would've GLADLY left and most likely taken down my initial review) SHE PHYSICALLY PUT HER HANDS ON ME TO PUSH ME OUT OF THE STORE even though I asked multiple times for her to stop touching me as I was walking out. She also threatened to call the police. 

This interaction was extremely UNNECESSARY, HOSTILE, and UNPROFESSIONAL, which gives insight into the level of thought of their costumer service. From reading other reviews, I don't believe I am alone in experiencing their nightmare of communication/costumer service, lack of decency, or the lack of care for their birds and fish in overcrowded and dirty living conditions.  

If you enjoy shopping Seascape Aquarium, by all means, continue to shop there. I only wanted to let them be aware that one of their pets might be hurt.

I recently purchased a fish which will never grow due to it being stunted. Its not there fault although i got no compensation as well as no support really. This is very discouraging, maybe I'll be going somewhere for my fish from now on.
