It is a great place to bring kids. We, as adults enjoyed this place as well. The collection is good. They have large number of fishes, jellyfish, anemone, seal, otter and other aquatic creatures. Don’t miss the exit that takes you to the other side where you can see the birds, seals from outside. It is fun to watch the seals play with each other. They have a touch and feel area which is great especially for kids. Well maintained and friendly staff.

Excellent! Combine with Pike Place for full-family-fun date! We took our tween to the aquarium and were lucky enough to catch the sea otter feeding time, a diver in the welcome-tank and a diver feeding in the domed-tank! It was perfect to spend a few hours exploring exhibits then walk the hill-climb to Pike Place Market for lunch then return to finish the afternoon at the aquarium. We felt like we'd seen a lot, our tween was pooped and we still got out of town before traffic was too unimaginable. I also though this helped us maximize the value of our tickets. The staff is so friendly and eager to educate. Exhibits are perfect for all ages, too! Easily a 5-star value!

My 2 year old loved watching the seals getting fed. The octopus tank is fun and interactive. My favorite section is the otters. The touch tank is well done. We really enjoyed our experience! If you plan on going more than once in a year, you should consider getting a membership.

Seattle aquarium is the place if you want kids to have a fascinating time watching the collection of aquatic animals and fish. The center is well laid out and informative. The wardens are very helpful. The tanks are well maintained and the variety of marine life on display was outstanding. I found myself spending at least 3-5 mins per display. To top it all, the sea otters and sea lions are fun to watch. Absolutely a must see if you are fascinated by colourful marine life that you would hardly get to see elsewhere. Especially if you have kids.

Took my little brother here and he enjoyed every minute! Fish are fun but the real draw is the mammals. The otters and seals are the most fun and really worth going for feeding time if you can swing it. Didn't see posted times for feeding but the information folks were very helpful so they could certainly assist you.
