The Westport Aquarium is an invaluable treasure. The Myrsells do a great job of running it. The focus is on wildlife education and connecting people to the ocean. The re-articulated skeletons are amazing. And Elvis, the wolf eel, is truly the king! (PS: If the tanks appear sediment-y at times, that's because that's what the water in the harbor is like). Bring the whole family up for a great time!

Only open by appointment and on weekends. Looked very unique and educational inside from the window.

Great little family run aquarium, small, but features local aquatic animals. Touch tanks and visitors can feed the fish (and ducks). Extra learning opportunities for youngsters as well.
