Stay away from SSFCU!!! They are garbage!!!! They will change your accounts without notice, charge you for things you didn't ask for, then try to put the blame back on the customer. When they are through with you, they will close your account without an email, a phone call, or even a letter. And on top of all that they will have their lawyers send out threatening letters to you for "money owed" on an account they closed without your notice or consent. If you don't believe me check out all the complaints on ncua.gov. They have horrible customer service practices, horrible upper management, among many other things. Horrible company all together. Don't get robbed blind like I did, just stay as far away from these horrible people as possible.

Very nice staff, however it does seem as though they do not keep enough staff available to help during busy times.

Bad service when someone just took out a large consolidation loan and you can't even return calls to your concerned customer.  Ask JH this at the Barnes office in Colorado Springs.  Such a disservice to your customer.

Last time I do anything through this bank.  On hold for 30 minutes to find out 6k was added onto my auto loan because they never received proof of insurance. When in fact I have had insurance on the car since we financed it.
