I'm really disappointed in Pat and the US Congress.  They are being completely irresponsible by passing a huge tax cut and getting ready to vote for a significant spending increase.  The resulting $+1 trillion/year US deficit for the foreseeable future will reduce the standard of living for our children and grandchildren.  If Pat can't pass a balanced budget, then he and his congressional colleagues should resign….now!

The epitome of the modern politician in our country. Serves only fat cat campaign donors. No backbone or ethics whatsoever. First held out on backing Trump (to keep himself as safe as possible) to the end, and now is 'all in' on a horrible tax plan, in order to serve his wealthy contributors at the cost of his constituents (and uninformed supporters).

I have emailed Toomey's office on numerous occasions on both healthcare and the tax "reform" issues. I have received only canned political responses that were very general and obviously not written in response to my concerns. He does not care about Pennsylvanians, and he is truly a phony Christian. He continues to support everything this administration does, no matter how much it hurts America. Watch his voting record in the Reading Eagle whenever it is posted. Total party hack... He voted to do away with the ACA even though a large majority of Americans wanted to keep & repair issues with it, and he is now promoting the tax sham, even though only 27% of Americans support it. He is so dishonest, that when the GOP could not dismantle our healthcare options in Congress, they slid it into the tax bill. Now, when all the people who refuse to get health insurance get sick or injured, guess who gets to pay for them. And whatever happened to separation of church & state? Toomey doesn't seem to support that, but DOES seem to  support anything to do with gun proliferation - coincidently he's received over $300,000 in campaign money from the NRA. Wonder what he'll do about Concealed Carry Reciprocity? I don't. Does this sound like a representative to you? I recently saw that 74% of Americans support reasonable gun safety laws. According to the Reading Eagle, he voted to confirm David Zatezalo as "Mine Safety Regulator" even though he is a former coal executive who clashed repeatedly with the previous admin over health & safely violations. He voted to confirm Joseph Otting for "Controller of the Currency" that oversees national banks & federal saving & loans. The man was president & CEO of One West Bank working with Steve Mnuchin - our now Treasury secretary under Trump. Sound like anything good is going to come out of this? Although we are now stuck with this man for 5 more years, and he will continue to do a lot of damage in the meantime, we need to vote Toomey out of office ASAP.

Pat Toomey's motorcade was heading to Allentown for a townhall meeting when it blew a tire on my street. Mr. Toomey knocked on my door and asked to use my phone. When I told him that I no longer had a landline phone and invited him to use my cell phone, he became enraged and kicked my dog. According to him, his thumbs are too sensitive for touchscreens and he would get a rash on his hands. I told him that I could call AAA for him but this further angered him, leading him to punch my clock and pull up my daisies on the way out of my yard.
