Beautiful clifftop hot tub. The rental homes are a little run down

Thank you Jim the owner, he was accommodating to our needs. We certainly had a great time enjoying the ocean view from our cabin. The private hot tub was a nice added bonus. We are definetly coming back here for our 40th anniversary.

The owner, Jim, is living in the 1930's when no one did upgrades to units.  He does not like living in this century, period.  He cheats you out of money on that damn coupon he wants to hand to everyone.  He does not keep the units up as far as cleaning and maintenance are concerned.  He does not like confrontation and refuses to speak to you.  We were there in January and specifically told the office we did not want to be bothered with the spa guy.  We do not use them and frankly did not want a maintenance guy there during our stay.  THEN came a killer.  The spa guy showed up inside the house!  No knock, used the key and came right in.  This is against CA law.  An owner has to give tenants written notice.  And then the guy didn't want to leave.   No identification.  So I started screaming I am going to call 911 if you don't get the hell out.  We went back in March.  Toaster, mixer, oven did not work.  House was not clean.  Only enough wood for one fire.  And the back door did not lock.  If there was a "0" star it would get that instead of a one star.  Everyone but Jim is very nice and understanding.  I would not go there if I were you.

The location of the hot tub on this place has to been one of the best in the west coast.

View and location is amazing!  Owner is really strict about rules though and not particularly friendly.
