I was recommended to Shampoo Avenue B by one of my friends. I was skeptical because of my loyalty to my other hairdresser in CT, but I tried anyway. I couldn't be more happy! I saw Joey. He really listened to exactly what I wanted and even gave some input on what he thought might look even better. My cut turned out great. Also the products they use are incredible. Can't wait to go back soon!

I had been putting off getting my haircut since moving to the city out of fear of not finding someplace I loved. Lucky for me, Shampoo Avenue B was recommended by a few friends and I'm so glad I went. The space is bright and cool and the service is great. Even when they were running a few minutes behind, they called in advance to let me know and provided wine and a complimentary hair conditioning mask. Brianne is super talented, meticulous, and made me feel relaxed and fabulous. I absolutely love my hair and will be back for sure!

This is the absolute best hair salon. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Raquel spoke with me for a while before my first haircut, and it was so obvious she cared very much about what specifically I wanted. She is the best ever!! Not only is she so talented and has (clearly) a diverse skill set, she genuinely wanted me to be happy and do everything I asked for. She is the sweetest! Safe to say I will never be going to another salon again. Shampoo Ave B 5ever.

Wow! Just wow! Let me just say I am not one to leave reviews but this has truly been the best salon experience I have ever had. The salon has the most welcoming and nonjudgmental vibe which is refreshing. I have to admit I was slightly embarrassed walking in looking a mess but never felt judged for a second. Ryan gave me a full head of highlights and a beautiful haircut....I am still in awe as I am writing this on my way home. In addition to the color and the haircut, the blowout was the best I've ever had. I have very fine hair and a scalp which is very sensitive and this is the first time in years that I didn't feel any discomfort. Ryan is a miracle worker...truly a perfectionist and has skilled gentle hands. Highly recommend! Thank you so much!

I've been coming here since I've been in the neighborhood (2.5 years) and I've seen Laura mostly. She has colored and cut my hair and by far the best blow out I've ever had. She is really attentive to your needs and does the BEST job! She always understands what I want (cut and color) and have been continuing to come here. Definitely recommend!
