Completely unimpressed!  We requested a baby shower cake that would have some flowers/piping on the sides that matched the colors of our invite (aqua and coral) and wanted a small nest on the top of the cake with an egg.  We were going to use our wedding cake toppers as the mom and dad birds looking in on the nest.  When we picked up the cake, the colors did not match the invite at all and the nest was not in proportion to the birds.  The bakery's response was that the colors matched the invite perfectly and they only have one size mold for a nest.  No one at the shower or anyone I've shown the pictures to since think the colors match.  The bakery makes cupcakes, they couldn't have used a cupcake tin for the nest or not fill the mold completely or maybe even get creative in making a smaller nest?  They are in the creative arts field, think outside the box!  Take a look at the pictures for yourself but I don't think this cake looks like something worth $110!

In response to Shancakes comments - the cake toppers were dropped of a week early! And as for the "elaborate decorations", the request was for the piping to MATCH the invite colors (the invite was given at the time of the order placement) and they definitely did not match!
