Food was amazing, authentic and reasonably-priced! Best soup dumplings outside of NYC! The filling was very flavorful, inside was the perfect amount of soup and the texture of the skin was just right. I was pleasantly surprised with the pan-fried pork buns. It was my first time having ever trying them and they were the perfect balance of crispy, doughy and soupy! A little awkward to eat but worth the trouble. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself was tidy and clean. Looking forward to my next visit!
This location did not disappoint at all. Those soup dumplings were so yummy but be careful as they are hot inside. The gentleman who took our order gave excellent recommendations as that scallion noodles was delicious. Pan fried pork buns flavors 10 out of ten. Salted pork and vegetable rice speaks for itself.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: No
The soup dumplings were the only reason I stopped in at this nice little place. I ordered them and was a little surprised that they were so small, in the pictures they just looked bigger. BUT they were HOT and FRESH so I was not too disappointed . I will compare them to NYC China Town very soon! The service was super good and food came out quickly as they were cooked. I will return and order something different next time as I like to try lots of new things!!!
The Little classic no-nonsense dumpling place. This place is awesome. Very clean and concise of a menu, and deliciously fresh and extremely hot dumplings. On my first try, I had the scallion noodles, nanxiang soup dumplings, and Shanghai pan roasted pork buns. Each one was more amazing than the next. I enjoyed the Shanghai pan roasted pork buns the most. They were unlike an other Shanghai pan roasted pork buns I had ever had. I would make the hike out to Chinatown again, now that Sapporo is gone. This place gives me faith in good asian classic food again. Make it a point to stop in and give them a shot. I do not believe that anyone would be disappointed in trying this place. It was extremely budget friendly, and 200% worth eating at. I'd even eat this on a 100 degree day, as they were that good. Enjoy and you stay classy Orlando!
Saw this place when we went to Enson so want to give a try. I guess they aim for Shanghai street food or dim sum whatever you call. The soup dumplings taste ok, but I do not recommend either the steam chicken or salty one. They are hard as rock. I know they are cold for sure it will be not as soft as when it’s fresh. But this chicken basically you bite for nothing so would not recommend. Pork chop and salty tofu pudding soup not sure the name is pretty good. Will be back next time to try the pan fired dumplings or buns. This area is not a too good area so recommend order for Togo.
From the friendly service and great value to the exceptional taste of each dish, this is one of Orlando's hidden gems. Enjoy a wide selection of authentic dishes set amongst an aesthetic minimalist interior. My favorites include the Nanxiang Soup Dumplings, the Shanghai Pan Fried Pork Buns and the Fried Pork Cutlet.
Love Love this restaurant!! I originally came from Shanghai, their Pan Fried Pork Bun is the best and most authentic I have ever had in US. Their other dishes such as Pork with Hot Sauce and Fried Bean Gluten are also very authentic and delicious. It reminded me of my Shanghai life every time I ate them.
This is a hidden gem! The food is mild, but extremely flavorful. Great price, very authentic and unique. We tried the Nanxiang Soup Dumpling, Shanghai Pan Fried Pork Buns and Salt Soy Milk Curd was like a soft tofu soup and very good. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area!
Absolutely authentic Shanghainese food! I grew up in Shanghai and I guarantee this is the taste I am familiar with. The spicy pork add on is beyond expectation. The small wontons are just average though. Everything else is tasty and very AUTHENTIC!
The temperature of the food was great. Everything came out was hot. As for the food itself, the Soup Dumpling were very small and some were dried out. The ones I had had barely any soup inside. The Salt Soy Milk Curd is different. It was blend. The Shumai was good and stuffed. The tables favorite was the Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. It was extremely hot. Even though it was good, the bottom part was too thick. The hot soy milk was nice and refreshing. Overall food was ok. The service was ok.
