My family and I, had a nice experience at Shankweiler's this past weekend. We saw 2 family movies and everyone was pleased with the event. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The kitchen could use a frier, but otherwise no complaints. My wife had a coupon that was only good through the week and couldn't use it. Well, that would seem fair, except that the theatre has been shut down for those days, due to bad weather and a lousy financial season. I do think that the person at the gate should've taken the coupon, but I still found her friendly and wouldn't let such a thing deter me from coming again. My family and I enjoyed ourselves, and will be back again for future performances.

Great drive inn
 Always a double feature. Get there early can be sold out. Parking is tight when full. You can bring chairs and a boom box and sit under the stars. Concession stand has hot and cold food

A bit far for us, but we always make it an event to go at least once every summer. Drive in is so much fun and a great deal for a double feature with current movies. Popcorn with real butter is the best!

Love going here. They have good food options at the concession stand and let you do a two for one on the movies. One of my favorite places to go for date night.

Very cool getting back to years ago when drive-in movies were a bit more common and we all had more convenience to get to within our home towns.
Other than some newer technology, it is exactly how it was.  Reasonable car load price, lawn chairs, pickup beds, blankets and pillows, and reasonable concession prices for a double feature for the evening with family or friends.
