We went sledding here today. The parking for sledding is right next to (and at the top ) of the hill which is very convenient. The parking lot was large and had been plowed. There were lots of people there today but it didn't feel cramped. The sledding hill is wide and steep enough to get some decent speed. There were kids of all ages going down. They have hay bales lining both sides of the hill. They also have wooden fencing next to the hay bales that we used as a handrail when climbing back up. Overall great place to go sledding!!!!

Very nice, older metro park with great tails to walk or bike. It's older now, so the trees and foliage are really grown up and filled out. There is an abundance of natural wild life as well, and probably could even be renamed Deer Woods Metro Park with how much wild deer have taken to the park.

Beautiful trails to walk and great playgrounds for the kids. This is my favorite place to go for a long run, but the hills can be tough. There are also lovely unimproved tails to hike and explore nature.

Great place to enjoy nature! The different trails are fun to walk or run. Great place in city to get away from the city and walk in the woods. Loved going there 5 times a week when I lived in Westerville. Sad we moved away. I loved to exercise and have family picnics in the park area.

Sharon Woods is by far my favorite park in the Westerville area. Their nature trail is very calming and a photographer's dream. The nature trail does not allow pets or jogging. There is a small lake where you can catch and release from the docks with the proper fishing license. Sharon Woods has numerous play areas for children and a variety of trails to use. There are trails for joggers, bikers and also some pet trails as well. The trails vary in distance and difficulty and grabbing a map from one of the many information stands will be helpful. Sharon Woods also offers activities throughout the year, and I highly recommend visiting during each season.
