I love Blendon Woods Metro Park! Their Disc Golf course is really nice and great for teaching the kids how to play. A very nice family place. The nature park is spectacular. My kids always have fun on the zip-line and climbing the wood structures. The facilities are usually pretty clean and the park is well maintained. I am planning on having my son's first birthday party here.

Nice park, but dogs only allowed on one designated trail. The trail was not paved or gravel and was very muddy. We tried to avoid parts of the mud and I got a big thorn through my shoe. Why are dogs not allowed on the regular trails? If the dog is on a leash what is the reason for that? As a female I don't feel safe walking alone on the trails and would like to enjoy the park. Think it's a little unfair as other parks allow dogs on trails.

What a nice park.  We had a awesome time here.  We love our nature walks.  There doesn't even have to be anything special going on to enjoy this place.  We always have a great time here.

Great Metro park in the central Ohio area. Pleanty of walking trails to enjoy nature inside of the city. Great place to enjoy family picnics. They have bbq grills to cook your food, bring charcoal and aluminum foil. The grill grates are not clean. Enjoy all the metro parks in the area. This park is one of the best of the multiple metro parks in the area.

Unplug from the net and refuel your tank of nature.

I admit it has taken me decades to experience and discover everything this park has to offer. When younger, I came here on school trips for the waterfowl and nature observations and learning centers. Fast forward to Disc Golf course, ice skating, sledding, and hiking trails. Another jump forward and I am attending family functions at free shelters with playground equipment and large fields for games. Now I'm hiking the trails and attending some outdoor retreat meeting talks at the open air amphitheater style space. One final jump forward and now I live nearby. I now bike here and get exercise with beautiful scenery. The only thing missing might be an ocean view. 

I find this park clean and well maintained. Park ranger service is always a presence. I have never heard anyone mention this as a dangerous or unsafe place. 

This can be a great place for picnics, dating, family, business, education, exercise, and general internet unplugging.
