Story

Set amid a once industrial landscape, Scioto Audubon has been transformed from a blighted brownfield into a green oasis where wildlife and birds thrive and flourish. The 120-acre park is a recreational and educational destination for visitors of all ages. Located along the banks of the Scioto River just south of downtown Columbus, the park resulted from a partnership between Columbus, Ohio Audubon and Columbus Metro Parks to bring nature to the Capital City.

Reviews
This review mostly pertains to the dog park: Convenient location, plenty of parking, covered picnic tables between the separated sections for large and small dogs. Running water (multiple drinking fountains at human height and dog height). Dog waste bags provided. Grounds are kept fairly level, avoiding large puddles. Port-o-potty. Obstacles set up for the dogs to play with.

The dog park itself is amazing but the people there are not. If you own a pit bull don't even bother going to the park, I've tried bringing my pup there three times and each time I've had to leave because someone had an issue with pit bulls.

I love this park .. It is a AWESOME dog park and has great trails you can walk with the whole family. They also have a little play area for kids or the kids a at heart can climb the wall..

Superb park. Very beautiful, with lots of outdoor recreational opportunities. Also plenty of nice spots, with good views, to just sit and reek relax. 4 stars because I went kayaking and there's a huge, unmarked area right off the launch area that's super shallow. And due to the dark color of the water you have no idea until your kayak is scraping bottom and you can barely move. Some signage either in the water or in the launch area would be helpful.
