Oh my gosh I'm so happy I found this place!! My girlfriend really wanted me to try Ethiopian food and I was a little nervous about it at first. She found Sheba and told me there would be live music so I agreed. We got there and I immediately liked the place. The music was super crisp and there was a hint of romance in the atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful and wanted to make sure we understood the menu. We ended up splitting two vegetarian dishes and they were very delightful. Ethiopian is very different but for my first time trying it I really enjoyed it. I believe that most, if not every night, Sheba offers live music. If the quality of music is consistent with what I heard then Sheba is a perfect spot to listen to live music over dinner/cocktails. Overall, Sheba Piano Lounge is an excellent place and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be coming back.

Nice smaller restaurant/ lounge. Went here instead as 1300 filmore was closed for a private event. It's very intimate and has loungy areas in addition to regular dinner tables and a community table that is great for a group of friends.

I wanted something delicious, and I definitely found it. You will be back once you do yourself a favor by stopping in. I find myself seated at the bar sometimes because they are often busy, but it's never uncomfortable or too busy to be served. Their staff has always been accommodating and wonderful!

Stopped by here for lunch this weekend before seeing a show at the Orpheus.This is a small restaurant, with a clean, modern industrial look inside, with bold colors and nice art on the walls.Friendly, helpful service, so even if you have no experience with Ethiopian food you should feel confident that you'll know what you're getting.Great food. Bold flavors, both for the meats and the vegetables. The lamb bits were my personal favorite - outstanding.We had a table of four, and of course were looking for variety. We ordered a vegetarian combination along with the lamb tubs and the beef kit. That was plenty of food for the four of us. If you're in this area, you need to go support this restaurant.
