This place has been under re-construction for some time, but before it closed for remodel, it was probably the highest gas prices in the area.  Really, really high prices - just trying to catch those who don't notice or are about to run out of gas.  Avoid this place unless you like giving away money.

MOST EXPENSIVE GAS STATION IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY. Ha ha.  This place is such a joke.  I pass by here 4 times per week.  There is a MAJOR gas station just 1 block down the street (heading north on Del Mar Heights) that is 75 cents-$1.25 per gallon cheaper than this place!  Better yet, an even cheaper station 1 mile away from Shell on Carmel Valley Road (previous freeway exit)..  I no idea why this owner charges these ridiculous prices.  I drive by and see a few CHUMPS filling up- obviously tourists who have no clue about San Diego gas prices, and don't know of the other station 1 block down the road.
