A healthy bowl of fruit blended with Açaí pulp and topped with fresh fruit and granola.
What is Açaí? (pronounced "ah sah ee")
Açaí is a berry that grows in the tops of palm trees along river banks in the Brazilian rainforest. Açaí with its berry/cocoa-like flavor has more antioxidants than blueberries and is a good source of Omega fats, protein and dietary fiber.
Where do we get Açaí?
We purchase our Organic Acai pulp from Sambazon. Sambazon has created a positive economic exchange with over 1,100 family farmers in Brazil by providing an alternative sustainable income source to logging and monoculture plantations. Sambazon promotes environmental stewardship over nearly 2 million acres of agro-forestry land using USDA Organic guidelines.
