Best Irish pub in the area! The food is outstanding! My usual is the Pork Chop Murphy or the Roast Beef Dunker but really you can't do wrong with anything you order. The staff is really nice and welcoming which makes for a great ambience. The "regulars" make you feel like family and the owner of the place is just a sweetheart. They have trivia night on Wednesdays which is a ton of fun.  One of my faves for sure!

We went to Shenanigans last night for the first time because we were visiting family in Rockaway and needed to eat. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The food was good. I especially liked the Buffalo wings. A big thank you to Helen and I didn't get the name of the other lady but a thank you to her too. The Karaoke DJ had a great voice and the karaoke singers did a great job.

I absolutely love the environment! The people were the best! We came on karaoke night and the clientele never stopped singing... they had a great taste in music and truly accept each other.  The drinks were fantastic and the service was superb! THE FOOD WAS WAY ABOVE BELOW BAR FOOD STANDARDS!  It was the BEST disco fries I ever had! Eall the food was amazing. I can not say enough great things! COME CHECK THEM OUT!

I am always cautiously optimistic when trying a new place.  Been wanting to go here for quite some time after moving to rockaway 3 years ago.  Tonight was the night.  We arrived shortly before 5pm on a Saturday.  No one there other than workers.  Ordered the fried Calamari as an appetizer.  Ugh!  It was the absolute worst Calamari I have ever had!  It was so overcooked, it was impossible to chew and had zero flavor.  All of that for $10.95!  I was losing hope for the rest of our experience.  We both ordered the boneless ribeye cooked medium.  I ordered the 10 oz with the whiskey sauce on the side ($2 extra) and my husband ordered the "14 oz" with the blue cheese "crumples" ($2 extra).  They come with a salad and warm bread which was nice, but I mean how could you screw up bread and salad?  Thankfully they didn't screw THAT up.  Out come the steaks.  Mine looked pretty decent for a 10 oz steak, but my husband's steak was sad.  It was tiny and thin and definitely no where near "14 oz" maybe 8 oz at best and that included the weight of the blue cheese.  You can imagine his disappointment after working all day and starving.  The service was pleasant.  The staff was very attentive, but I have to say, not the best $85 I ever spent.  Next time I would probably opt to stay in.  Its way cheaper and less disappointing.

I cannot believe how bad this was on St. Patrick's day. 

First off, the service was so slow that I couldn't order drinks fast enough to get beyond a mild buzz.  Nevermind the fact that an Irish pub didn't have Guinness on St. Patrick's day! 

Beyond that, the corned beef and cabbage was bland, expensive, and for God's sake tiny portioned.  The entire point of corned beef and cabbage is lots of rough food for hungry people.  Not deli shaved meat over two tiny potatoes and some cabbage. 

I've never been forced to order yeungling on St. Patrick's day and I'm never going to be forced to again. 

Give this place a pass, it's not worth your custom.
