Although we did not purchase a house from Shimberg Homes, they were very professional and helpful. Ernie, their agent, was prompt, courteous, and upfront with all of our questions.  At some point when we are ready to build, Shimberg will be at the top of our list. Highly recommend them!

We love our new Shimberg Home and cannot say enough about the positive experience we had working with the Shimberg team.  We purchased our home prior to permitting and thus saw the process the whole way through.  Troy Glaves, Earl Piper, and Melissa Bailey are responsive and truly care that you love your new home.  Building a house is stressful but it made it so much easier on us to know that if there was an issue they would make sure it was done right.

Shimberg Homes LLC, built our custom family home on Lake Magdalene Circle, going on 6 years now and they did an incredible job. We are very happy we interviewed multiple builders and master planned communities to find the right one for us. They were very professional, easy to communicate our needs to and they listened to all the revisions to the blueprints we made along the way.  They are very affordable, yet very high quality custom builders. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful and affordable family home. If we decided to build again, we will work with them once more. No doubt about it, we are customers for life. If you can dream it, they will help you build it.

We loved our experience with Shimberg; through the building process as well as our new home. We had shopped around and spoke with 10-15 builders before selecting Shimberg. They truly care about the families they build for.  Also, they don't try to nickel and dime you for upgrades because their homes already include the luxury upgrades that would cost $15-$30k with other builders. As for the building process, they worked with our budget and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and got the home we wanted, even naming a new model home after our daughter! Their customer service was superb from the first day we started working with Troy to the day of closing with the owner of the company handed us the keys. There were no delays in closing/move-in date they originally gave us and no major incidents in the process. We felt well-informed through received weekly /calls. All the subcontractors were very professional and pleasant to work with. As for the home itself, we have now lived here for 6 months and couldn't be happier with the end result. My husband and I are very OCD and it is clear living here, no corners were cut. The 2 homes next to us are also Shimberg Homes. Meeting them after moving in, we have all talked about it and agree we loved our experience and our new homes.
