There is nothing Sicilian here.  Let us be clear.  The food is mediocre not worth the price.  It is Byob.  Staff is polite and friendly.  It is a shame because the location is perfect by the ttain station.  Five minutes from my house thought i would check it out. I will not return.  Just did not impress on any level.

Prices are medium to high,but the food is delicious and freshly made. There is a good variety including several vegetarian options loke a florentine lasagna and daily specials. It is a small charming neighborhood gem.

Racism in elkins park!?!? An experience I wish I could forget but it replays in my head every time I go by this place which is everyday. My wife my son and I walked down the street to this place one day to enjoy a local place to eat. Only we were turned away at the door. With 4 large open tables I was told that I had to call ahead that it was reservation only. That was after the owner who introduced himself as such, greeted us while looking me up and down and gave a disturbed look. I wanted to get more information but my wife was so offended she dragged me out of the place to never return again. We’ve done just that. We drive miles in any direction before we think about giving the place our money. My wife is black and so am I. I spent the majority of my life in elkins park. I’ve never gotten this kind of treatment anywhere.

My claims are 100% authentic and no it was not a female who greeted us at the door but a man with some grey in his hair. By the response you gave me and the other reviews on this site I can tell you are not one who takes accountability for their actions. The negative post about your establishment that you replied to, we’re all met with the same aggression and attempts to discredit the writer. Instead of attempting to make amends and satisfy the writers, you continue to challenge and attempt to discredit them. I would never visit this establishment again and I will encourage others to do the same.
