Naran and the entire staff at Tiffin Elkins Park are always superb! They make sure our order is exactly how we request it...more importantly our whole family enjoys eating from Tiffin--whether we dine in or take-out. 

I have eaten Indian food all across the world and Tiffin is consistently one of the best places to get Indian food.

Very delicious Indian cuisine. Vegetarian options are plentiful. Great conversation with waiter. Low prices for well-cooked food.

Order the food for here, not for takeout/delivery.  Even if you have no intentions to eat in the restaurant.  This restaurant will do a MUCH better job with the food.  Trust me.  Seems like this Tiffin has two standards.

Indian food is not bad, But quantity really cheating. It’s looting $14.00 for a smalll bowl food. Rest of everything is fine. Not recommended because of this.

Excellent food, friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices (appetizer, two entrees, dessert, and tea $40). Simple, yet elegant setting. Dined at 3pm on a chilly Sunday afternoon. Server asked how spicy hot each of us wanted our entree. One was extra hot, the other slightly hot. When the dishes arrived the spicyness was perfect in each!
I tried the house special, Tiffin Biriyani, which came with flavorful chunks of meat in nicely spiced Basmatti rice in a generous size metal bowl that kept warm for the entire meal. The waiter, considerately, provided a small side dish of raita to temper the taste! My partner had Tandoori shrimp which were nicely grilled and had the extra hot spiciness requested. There were plenty good sized shrimp with veggies.
We shared an appetizer, Eggplant Chatt. There were nicely coated bite-sized slices with delicious sauce.
The waiter kept our water glasses full, and was attentive, without being intrusive. There were only ourselves and another table at the time. That may have allowed extra service; however, they showed a sensibility for service that would be necessary to have good service when more busy.
The menu is coded to show dishes as vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free, or containing nuts. This is good for anyone with dietary considerations.
It easy to reach at the intersection of Church Road and Old York Road. We will be going back, especially when we want to treat guests.
