One of my favorite metro parks. Two sides offer various places to spend time. The Maumee river side has a playground, large pavilion and nice restrooms. The other side is more quaint with older individual covered areas to grill & picnic and also you can see parts of the canal. There are many trails on both sides for walking, riding or jogging. Play areas on both sides as well.

Awesome park. Dog friendly. A variety of stairs and inclines makes it a great workout as well.

Beautiful scenery. And I love seeing all the people there for various occasions for photoshoots absolutely perfect background and several different places for beautiful pictures

This park has the best variety in the area! Shady and sunny areas, gravel paths and cement, hilly areas and flat fields, wooded/riverside areas, walk out into the river, fish in the river or in Silver Lake. There is a place to build a fire, cook out, sled, canoe/kayak, picnic, or view nature at the window on wildlife. More private grass trails can also be found. Oh, I didnt mention the awesome playground for the kiddos near the clean and functional restrooms. Its worth stopping by, trust me, we've been to ALL the area parks with our five children and this park has something for every one of us!
