Amazing, quick service and wonderful food that you can tell is made with love. Homemade pastries served daily with a wonderful selection of breakfast and lunch bites. They also have a full coffee bar that is definitely worth trying!
Cute cafe downtown. Busy. Loved the decor and how you order and just sit down. They have a grass spot you can sit on. grab a blanket and go sit in the grass. They do picnic style lunch as well where they fill your picnic basket with what you order and bring it out. My breakfast/brunch was amazing. Full coffee bar... So the cappuccino was amazing beautiful latte art. Had a Bellini as well. And my breakfast Mac n cheese was heaven!!!! I definitely will go back when I visit my best friend. Wish it was in my hometown. Excellent. Nothing but good things to say about this place.
Waited over 20 minutes for my food. Pot pie was good, but not as good as I’d expect for a $20 pie. Chicken tasted like the frozen strips I buy @ Sam’s Club. Scone topping was the highlight. Noisy inside; table that was available was dirty. Had to ask server where I could get my water and silverware. I will not return.
A friend insisted we come here for dinner one night. We showed up and saw people with their picnic baskets enjoying there orders out on the lawn. He raved about the pulled pork and grilled flat iron steak sandwiches. The pulled pork did have a really nice smoky flavor. I was hesitant about the steak sandwich but ended up really enjoying it. The torpedo roll was perfect for it. Soft yet dense enough. The chimichurri and other toppings were a nice compliment to the steak. The fries were tasty. I had there spicy ketchup to dip the fries, which was ok. Wish there was a bbq option. The raspberry lemonade was surprisingly filled with pulp; odd but not horrible. I got the bread pudding with pears to go but it just tasted off with the caramel sauce. The lady did say they used pastries from the day before to make them. Not sure if it was part of the problem but I didnt enjoy it. Everything came out to roughly $60; a little steep for what we got.
My husband and I went on Saturday at 11am for brunch. It was crowded and there was a line to order, but it moved quickly. The food and drinks were delicious- shirred eggs and crispy potatoes/bacon, latte and chai latte. And the muffin was delicious too! We ate indoors since it was chilly. The only downside was we sat in the corner with the music speakerbox above our heads. It was a bit loud and it made it difficult to talk without raising your voice.
Latte lover? This is a great place to get a latte and have a chance to sit and enjoy being outside sit indoors if you like. There is no rush to leave. There are blankets to grab to keep warm when needed. Besides dairy milk, there is an Oat milk option for your hand crafted coffee drinks cappuccino, Machiatto, mocha, etc. too.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I love this place! Ideal location on Plaza center with quaint indoor seating & plenty of outdoor tables. The staff is friendly & had excellent recommendations when I couldn’t choose from all the delectable options. The Eggs Benedict was perfection to the last bite. The lemon lavender cake is my favorite! I especially appreciate the citrus infused water. Took me a minute to realize the water is self serve. The young woman that crafted my latte definitely created a piece of art, both in appearance and taste. I will definitely be back!
Sideboard is a long time favorite when we’re in Lafayette. Just a short drive from the famous Orchard Nursery and conveniently located across the open plaza with decent parking. The food is great - chilaquiles, huevos rancheros are staples for a vegetarian breakfast menu. We only go for the weekend brunch menu. Don’t forget to get a coffee cake.
Great local spot in Lafayette. We come here for their great breakfast options. Prices are on the higher side but their food is really good. I also love their baked stuff, coffee cake, scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. Line can be a bit long though but their staff are always friendly and efficient.
We loved everything about this place. The food was amazing casual dining comfort food at its best. BUT the Brussels sprouts are the best I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. Nearly a religious experience. We’re home and still talking about them. Seriously, go. And order the sprouts.
