Tried to charge me $980 for a simple brake pad and rotor job. When I explained the parts are at most $150, I was told the rest of the cost was for cleanup, and a lifetime warranty. Bloody terrible. Parts come with a warranty. Despite this awful service, I still had to pay the fee for the brakes being examined. My favorite part is they are spamming my snail-mailbox with discount offers to come back to their shop. As if. These sorts of businesses are to be avoided. Any respectable shop will be able to give you an estimate over the phone. Brakes are cheap, don't let these mechanics rob you.

Friendly staff. I went in for a break inspection. They even leave a treat on your dash with a thank you note and treats. Overall great experience

I am a Toyota woman. I have only owned Toyota's since I began driving. I am new to the Twin Cities and asked another Toyota fanatic where to go to get my vehicle taken care of. He said he does most of his own repairs but when he MUST go to a mechanic, he could not recommend Signal Garage on Grand Ave. highly enough. I was not disappointed. Fair prices, superb communication, excellent mechanics and SPEEDY. I, too, cannot recommend Signal Garage highly enough! Support this local garage with confidence!

I've been taking my car to signal for 5 years and I have always had a positive experience with their staff. They always explain to me in detail any issues that need repairing and WHY the repair should be made, as well as what might happen if I elect to not make the repair. Customer service goes a long way and the staff at Signal Garage do it right!

I've been to Signal twice now, and both experiences have been very positive. My visits were 6 months apart, so I didn't even think they would remember me, but they did. This shows that they really care about the customers, as well as the safety and functionality of your vehicle. 

Shawn and Avi were both extremely helpful in figuring out necessary repairs vs what can be delayed on my 2002 Audi when I'm financially strapped, finding ways to lower the cost,  and communicating what they were doing every step of the way. Whenever they came across another problem, they were sure to communicate with me before proceeding with repairs. I would recommend Signal because they are reliable, reasonable, and respectful. I will be coming here again.
