I use to love this park. Until this one bad trip I had. Me and my friends ate some gold cap shrooms and went to the park. Some distance down the trail is a pond. We cut back into the woods a little and smoked a joint. As it turned out it was some kind of metro park trail day and there was people everywhere. Wave after wave of paranoia ensued. Fears of terrible monsters perusing use. Ninjas lurking behind the trees. Everywhere impending doom lurked. No escape with families calibrating the beautiful weather in every direction... Worst trip of my life. 

  Grate place to get out for a walk. Variations between woods and open fields. A nice pine tree grove. A few ponds. Very relaxing.

Beautiful park. Well maintained. Bbq grills and picnic tables. Great lawn for basking in the sun.

I loved the park a lot of good trails,but when me and my wife went to let our 3 year old play on the playground it was in the fenced in area of the swimming area which was closed at the time,now I understand the swim area is not always going to be open but who in their right mind put the playground in the fenced off area  irritating  is what I call it nice park poor planning

I've been going to this park for probably 20 years and it is in the top 5 favorite parks in Ohio.
