Does this look right? Sims-Lohman thinks it's just fine. Now when was the last time you saw a back splash not flush with a counter top? NEVER! I'll see Sims- Lohman in court but do yourself a favor. If your going to spend thousands on a kitchen don't let a contractor like Sims-Lohman RUIN it!

Tim and Danny installed our beautiful, granite black galaxy countertops that we purchased from our local Lowes store. They were on-time, communicated effectively regarding time of arrival on day of installation, were highly professional, and did great work to make our kitchen look beautiful! They also communicated post-care instructions so that we know just what to do to keep our countertops looking marvelous for years to come. Thanks for your great work!

We went to Homedepot Sara helped us out explaining our the quartz  countertop and how everything worked. Dave came and did all the measurements he was very nice explaining everything to us. When we got the email with the seam placement we decided it wasn't what we wanted. I called talked to Heather explained our concerns told her where we wanted the seams. They emailed us back with the changes everything looked great set up a delivery date. The guy called us early yesterday morning to give us a time, he then called later to let us know when they left Pittsburgh. When Dave and Danny got here they were both very friendly  answered questions and were both very professional. The countertops are beautiful will recommend you guys to friends. Thank You

Outstanding installation.  Ethan and Pete nailed it!  Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly!  The countertop is perfect and the two seams are basically invisable.

Sims-Loman was contracted through Home Depot to do our countertops for us. We had a difficult time scheduling with them because they were so booked. The cabinets were quickly done after we paid Home Depot but it took Sims-Lohman about a month after the cabinets were done when they could come and measure out the cabinets to fit the countertops. This was a hardship for us because we had a kitchen with counter and no sink for about a month. They used a machine to measure out the dimensons to cut the countertop so I thought the whole job would be accurate, it wasn't. It took another couple weeks for our counter tops to come in and for them to schedule a time they could come out. The countertop near my stove was cut too big that we realized it was impossible to pull out our stove in case we wanted to get one to match the new kitchen. We also wanted the quartz countertop to be our back splash so clean up would be quick and easy, but with three different Sims-Lohman contractor coming into our house they never said our outlets needed an extender so this was poor communication on their part because as a customer this was my first time remodeling my kitchen I have no clue on what I need to do on my part if they as a professional don't tell me. They were unable to put up the back splash because the oven could not be moved (due to their error), we wanted the back splash to be extended behind the oven because cooking can be messy. So they scheduled to come another day. When they did come they realized that the contractors that cut the quartz had place the outlets in the wrong location so the WHOLE quartz was bad and they had to get a new block. 
At this point I was frustrated so I thought it was best if they just 1. Fixed the countertop that made my oven tight just in case I wanted a new oven and had to take the old one out. 2. Instead of making their jobs harder and waste more time to just give me a 4 inch back splash so water doesn't get into the wall of the kitchen. Basically I saved them from using MORE quartz because their contractors wasted the first quartz by measuring the wrong place of my outlets. The job was done but I think it is unfair to expect me to pay for the WHOLE quartz block when I only used four inches of it. The job was to do a WHOLE quartz back splash and I paid for it but since it was their contractor who messed it up and I wanted to help them to finish up the job and not prolong I am getting penalized for it. I do not recommend Sims-Lohman and if your going through Home Depot for a kitchen remodeling, please ask them the company that is going to do your house and research it and ask questions.
