I have been several times before but it's just alright. The BBQ was good but the cornbread was like a piece of foam rubber and the slaw was bulk slaw out of a bucket? So I went to get a hand made desert as the sign read and it was in a Styrofoam box and it had been in the refrigerator for at least 4 or 5 days? I was truly disappointed but the line was out the door so I guess they don't really care what I think they are living off their legacy?

They offer a variety of sauces to choose from to add to your meat of choice. I had the barbecue and slow with a slice of cornbread. Its an open space to view the cooks chopping up the barbecue and historical pictures of people visiting the restaurant. The food was excellent

Absolutely the best BBQ I've ever had. Whole hog but clean Q, not over seasoned. The skin is what makes it. They cut off any skin that's rubbery and only use the crispy parts, chopping it up and mixing it in with the meat. It's all good at Skylight Inn BBQ !

Made trip to the skylight inn to eat some great bar b que. Been looking forward to it for several days. Wasn't disappointed. Great food and friendly people.

This is what true great whole hog, wood cooked,fresh BBQ (strait off the pit) should be. It's tender,you taste the pork, just the right amount of wood smoke, litely seasoned an chopped just right. In the car writing this almost want to go back an get some more. In my opinion the best there is !
