Mat Pilates uses dynamic movements in a conditioning routine that builds flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination. There is a large focus on moving the breath and body together, core strength, and stabilization of muscles.
The TRX is suspension training using your body weight and gravity to build power, strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility. In the TRX/ Core class we use the TRX to give you a full body workout. On the mat we focus on toning your abs, oblique’s, and back muscles using various props.
Fitness Yoga is a classed designed to connect mind body and breathe work. We will move through yoga postures to build strength and flexibility.
The Pilates reformer uses spring resistance to develop long lean muscle, and is great for stretching techniques. Along with the springs there is a system of straps and pulleys with a platform that glides, this helps stimulate torso stability and postural alignment. There are 100’s of exercises that can be performed on the Pilates reformer that include lying down, standing, sitting, and kneeling, and can be sport specific.
