Slice & Pint

About

Throughout the ages every culture on planet earth created pizza and beer in some form or fashion. All people made a flat bread with toppings and fermented a drink from grain or starches. Pizza and beer just go together.

Food was tasty and so was the beer. I had the very unique Thanksgiving pizza, complete with dressing, gravy, cranberries and of course, turkey. It was understandably strange but also surprisingly tasty. That being said, I did find my slice of pepperoni, sausage, and feta to be much more delicious. And normal. The fries were really good, as well as the fried mozzarella (though a few of them were hollow fried breadcrumb husks). I wouldn't recommend the habanero hot sauce, not a great flavor while unenjoyably (very) hot. The Octoberfest craft beer paired well with the pizza. Service was good, not outstanding but no complaints.

Their food is always amazing; however, their service leaves something to be desired. For example, this evening, our waitress came to our table about ten minutes after we'd been there, then started by saying, "We close in twenty minutes. Have you decided on your order?"

Make sure you call ahead to ensure they're going to be open. Drove across town to get a pizza there. They're supposed to close at 11pm, arrived before 10:30pm. Walked in and was told they were closed. They hadn't had a customer in 45 minutes, they said. I said we just drove 45 minutes to get there. They could not have cared less. They have great pizza, excellent beer, but alas non-existent customer service.

I love the peppadew hummus, pizza, and delicious, innovative desserts. The salad ingredients are really fresh and flavorful, much better than usual restaurant salads.

So glad I found Slice & Pint today. I dined alone so I sat at the bar. Great atmosphere for dining and chilling for awhile. Pizza there is off the chain. They packed the toppings on. I bought a single slice, which was quite sufficient. Their brews are homemade. Some very flavorable selections on hand. Definitely very satisfying. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of space in the place. Dining inside and outside. I loved the music playing in the place as well.
