I come here every other week like clockwork. I absolutely adore it. The food is OUTSTANDING. Their buns and fried rice are personal favorites. But the absolute X factor is Brian (Bryan?). I have no hesitation in saying he's one of the best bartenders in the city. What he does better than almost anyone around is community. By the end of the night, not only will he remember your name, he'll know everyone else at the bar and you'll be talking with them too. I always have a blast when I come to Taiyo. It doesn't hurt that I'm so well fed as well.

Revising my review because the restaurant name and menu have changed and I have seen considerable improvement since the change. The Ramen bowls are delicious, with savory soup and other stuff in it. The fried noodles are very flavorful also. They have a kids menu and stuff off it are of good quality, although a bit expensive for kids items. But kids get free dinner on Monday through Friday before 6:30pm, which is a sweet deal.

Some of the best ramen and service in the Atlanta area. I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy beef ramen. I found that the broth was less fatty than some places but still incredibly flavorful.

It took me a little searching to find this place, as it's part of a hotel (there's a separate street entrance on the left, down some stairs). Prices are reasonable, and the ramen is VERY good. The sake hit harder than I thought it would. If you want something really rich/hearty/umami, get the tonkotsu.
