My dog Faye is a 15 year old beagle. With a pace maker. Thanks the wonderful staff and doctors she is a happy healthy dog. I would absolutely recommend bringing your furry friends here they are amazing at what they do. They also provide private rooms for familys to visit.

I can't say enough about how spectacular the care provided here was. I brought my boy zeus (Rottweiler) from Ontario which for us was a 7 hour drive, because he was in DKA and was a newly diagnosed diabetic (which is a critical situation). As soon as I arrived at the emerge zeus was whisked away to ICU for vitals check and physical exam by the ER doctor on call and was immediately brought to ICU. The vet came out and told us exactly what was going on and that they were going to get him better. The vet spent a lot of time explaining what was going on and what needed to be done. The staff was excellent and empathetic to both zeus and myself. They called to give me updates on his status every 3 or so hours for the 3 days he was there, and ran every test by me first, explained the rational and overall assured me. Over 3 days they stabilized him and he was able to come home. I can't even begin to go into how well they treated us and zeus. They had cubicles for us to visit with him- with a dog bed and blanket, water, food and a quiet and comfortable seating area for us. I am so thankful this place exists words can't explain. My boy means the world to me and the staff and especially the vets are top notch at what they do. Zeus would have died if it wasn't for them. Thank you..thank you..thank you so much to all of you!!! I won't hesitate to bring him back should he ever run into trouble!

I dropped my cat off for the rabies test we were forced to do after we euthanized him earlier that day because he bit the nurse while in respitory distress. I informed them I'd like max's body back so I could bury him myself. I was told "I don't think they allow the bodies to be given back because they cut off their heads to get brain matter for the rabies test". I was not aware of what they did for the rabies test and hearing this less than 3 hrs after having to suddenly put my kitten down was traumatic. They lack of compassion/customer service. Every question I asked them they had to look up....like the price of cremation...how do you not know that and you require bodies to be dropped off at your location to have the rabies test? To make things worse the next day I got a call from the vets office were he got euthanized saying I need to drop his body off at the u of m to have him tested for rabies and that they called the u of m earlier and we're informed that his body wasn't there!!! I'm panicking now because if his body isn't there(where I dropped him off) then where is it? This has been a horrible experience and I hope nobody else has to go through this especially after having to put their pet down!
