I shop at the Smart & Final Extra on Manzanita and Engel their produce department is awesome great quality great prices, they have all the basic in store items and the best roasted chickens anywhere ! Prices are much lower than competitors down the street selections are somewhat limited but good. I don't have a lot of experience with purchasing from their meat department have only tried a few things but they were good also.

U can find all grocery need, some times they have stuff that other stores dont have, i love their roasted chicken 🐔, good selection of drinks, and for the restaurant owner they can find bulk grocery like 📦 of tomatoes sacks of onions.
The only think i don't like is the WAIT!! on the line to pay.

I like this store a lot! They have most everything that I need. Their prices are pretty good. A little high on some things, very low on some other things. All in all a good experience, with one or two exceptions. The biggest Improvement I would make is more employees at the registers. I understand the need to cater to the small business customer, but when a cashier has to run and get something that the customer didn't feel like grabbing, or a customer walks away from the register while he's being rung up because he needs to get one more item, it takes away from the experience for everybody waiting in line behind that business customer and should not be tolerated!
