Without doubt, the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a dentist's office. Please do yourself a favor and find someone -- anyone -- else to go to. Charged $180 for x-rays at first visit, but "didn't have the time" for the teeth cleaning. Said I'd just have to come back at a later time. Let me explain the very basic concept that people go to dentists on routine checkups to have their teeth cleaned. That's the whole point of making a checkup visit. We're not there for conversation! This is why dental insurance provides two routine cleanings per calendar year -- because people go to the dentist to have their teeth cleaned. Duh. We arrange our entire schedules to accommodate a dentist's appointment, only to be told there's no time to do the actual appointment. There has never been one time I've ever been to a dentist where they did not clean the teeth. What's it take? 10 minutes? Horrible service, and they don't care because they got the $180. They stole my money, then had the audacity to say "teeth cleaning is free." (Which explains why they didn't want to do it!) Go find someone else! If I can save one person from getting messed over by this scam company, it's worth ranting on the Internet.

Best dental office ever!!  They were very efficient with Rob''s extraction. We had a snafu with our HSA account but they were so patient with us while I tried to get them paid.  Would highly recommend this business to anyone new to Decatur.

This is the best dental experience I have ever had! The staff is courteous and friendly, the hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable and GENTLE. The dentist is kind and caring. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Smart Mouth Family Dental!!!!

When searching as to where I would get seen I chose this facility based on ratings and reviews and I see now why you have the reputation yall have! You guys are amazing! Starting at the front desk to Yadira and her outgoing personality and just how comfortable and welcoming she makes you feel to the wonderful Dr. Robert Wilson who was such a blessing to me today!! He was very gentle and makes sure you are as comfortable and pain free as he possibly can make whatever procedure you are having done!! I can't tell you enough how great full I am to have chosen them! Very highly recommended!!

Great experience for my 6 & 7 yr old! I took them in for a cleaning and was overly happy when they both walked out with a smile on their face thanks to the wonderful staff. We had to return to take care of a cavity which they originally anticipated as needing a crown for each one but luckily after closer exam & cleaning only ended up needing a filling instead. To have a dentist/doctor that honestly cares enough to do only what is needed instead of excessive work just to up charge was great. Plus there was never a question of whether or not I could remain in the room which was a comfort to both me & my girls! We will happily be returning to see them for our next cleaning!
