If you have a toddler like mine then you dread the day he/she will need a haircut. My Son at 2 years old needs to be put in a straight jacket and have 6 grown men hold him still to get his haircut at his old barber. We decided to give Smart Style a chance based on a word of mouth review, and boy are we glad we did! Chris was the lady that cut my little monsters hair and she did a amazing job!!!!!!!!! She was very gentle and nice and my little one didn't fight at all!!!!!!! Chris is amazing, I have found a place to get my sons hair cut from NOW ON!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a toddler that fights haircuts like a large mouth bass fighting to get off the line then bring them on down and ask for Chris.

Okay so this story is kind of a long one, I'm going to start from the beginning. Around late June my dads ex-fiancé dyed me and her daughters hair with splat( This is really important) we bleached my hair because I have brown hair and we wanted to stay. We didn't bleach the other girls hair and it came out in a week. My hair was purple and over the summer in turned to an orange-pink kinda of color. Now come early August I try out for my schools cheerleading team and make it. The WVAASC restricts having any out ragous hair colors, my hair was a bright pink/ purple. So being the 13 year old I am I want to get an ombré. First I went to Holiday hair in Morgantown because its closest to where I live and it's cheaper. We talk to Daja who's booked all day but she fit me in for a testing to see if we could remove to color. My hair turned even more pink ( that was yesterday) but says she was working down in fairmont at smart styles (today for me) so we make an appointment with her for 10:00am 08/21/16. First of all she got to Walmart the store around 10:20, she was 20 minutes late.... Then she didn't get me in until about 10:30. We cut my hair to get the previous dye out and now I have terrible layers. Then it takes about 2 hours to get the dye in my hair. She didn't even ask me how far up I wanted the dye and didn't use my refrence pictures saying 'those aren't ombre' ( I sent them to my cousin who does hair and they were ombre) she didn't want to put toner in my hair...... SHE FLAT OUT SAID SHE DIDNT WANT TO PUT TONER IN MY HAIR. (She put one coat in) So now I have terrible orange hair.... It looks like I dyed my hair blonde a long time ago and have been to lazy to get my roots touched up. Praise the lord I have a cousin who lives a little over an hour away willing to fix up my hair Bc it is absolutely terrible. We spent $160...… yes I know dying hair isn't cheap, she charged us $85 for the hair, around $30 dollars for my brows ( which she messed up because I've gotten my brows done many times and it's never hurt like this) and then toning shampoo to fix my hair she was to lazy to tone, the shampoo could turn my hair purple.... The color i just got rid of. I'm literally so embarrassed I haven't been out in public nor do I want to. I was talking to my hair dresser cousin saying i should go get a refund and I don't blame her. So bottom line don't come here to get your hair dyed or at least don't get Daja even though she said ombre was her specialty because it isn't... I went home and cried Bc we wasted $160 on a gross hair style. Oh yah I forgot to mention I have huge chunks of my hair just missing and really weird layers that she gave me... So I hope this saves you from this nightmare I had

As of 5/11/2015 No longer takes appointments.   Am I just supposed to show up and wait for 2 hours?
