I have been coming here for about 2 years now. They have been really great with me and the services they provide and are helpful and have knowledge. I have two fillings that I have to get replaced because they are old and need to get replaced. I got a cleaning done with Karen. Excellent job from here. She is careful and makes sure your doing fine when she clean and ask if you are sensitive before doing any work. After they cleaning Dr. Chen and Rosa showed me the two fillings I needed replaced and showed me pictures with a camera tool they have. And I told them yes, to do remove the old filling to put new white ones. They place a temporary one while they actual ones is made. Gabby, office manager, helped me with get care credit application and be able to cover both fillings. Dr. Chen did and excellent job removing it with the help of Rosa. Gabby helped me with the monthly payments as well. This whole time I have been treated well by all the staff and I have never had a problem with any procedures that they have done. And Gabby and Rosa are bilingual so there's no language barrier with Spanish too. They are knowledgeable and they made me feel welcome. Thank you to Gabby, Rosa, Karen and Dr. Chen 😊

Extraction w/ bone graft The doctor did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable and in as little pain as possible. He listened to me when I made comments about comfort which was new for me. He filled me in on everything that was going on and what the next steps were, very informative and knowledgeable. Nothing bad I can say other than they seemed a little under staffed.

This is dental care the way it should be. Dr Potter at SmileMax is the best. After 15 years in LA, I can now say I have a dentist. Dr Potter discussed stress, oral microbiome and the hygiene hypothesis with me. I have never had such a conversation with a dentist before...functional medicine doctors yes, but never a dentist. I am very impressed with Dr Potter and his staff.

This is a great dental office. Everyone is always professional and concerned about your dental health. Best of all, you don't have to spend a lot of time waiting to see a dentist. I would highly recommend this dental office.

Beware Beware Beware! GET a Second Opinion! Maria Galang, DDS, the dentist, is highly unprofessional. "Examined" my teeth with naked eye stating I had NINE cavities and needed a "deep-cleaning." I was handed an estimate for thousands of dollars. I got a second opinion to learn I had slight "pit-stains" NOT cavities and needed a regular cleaning WHICH, by the way, I payed for at SmileMax and only received a polish to the front of my teeth. RUN from this place!! Con artist! Read the YELP reviews. The good ones are fake (MUST be).. Also scroll down to the "not recommended" reviews. Some have been filtered. Such a shame that she sees children as well.
