Spectacular playground. Huge, open, well maintained, immensely varied option that is a must visit. We drive down from NYC to take advantage of all Philadelphia has to offer and this is a required stop. Our kids have a blast here. A special feature includes the wooden, covered slide that provides burlap sacks for maximum sliding fun. Can’t recommend this place enough

Amazing playground tucked in the heart of Fairmount Park. Free to the public with rides, toys, and equipment for all ages to enjoy. Excellent way to get the kids outside (or inside) to exercise and interact with other children. The large old fashioned covered wooden side should be your first stop in the park!

A very nice green space playground. I'm a grandmother now and I remember going to Smith Memorial Playground as a little child. There was dirt everywhere back then some 45-50 years ago but now they have cushioning throughout the playground for safety. I've taken my children there and now I'm taking my grandchildren there. Besides outdoors inside the house there are different rooms on every floor for children to play. You can also have children's birthday parties on the porch. The swimming pool has not been open for years but all in all some children cry when it's time to leave. Great place for children to play and be safe. Thumbs up to all of the supporters.

Outside was fabulous, could add a few things....... Inside ok. Outside bathrooms...... I am still upset. They need to have a fundraiser to fix them!!?! I will be on the committee.

Very nice playground for children! My daughter and I both had a ball today. The staff was friendly and really helpful. The play area was very clean, and what I liked most was how the children all played well with each other! Will definitely recommend, and my daughter and I will be back soon!
