The room (a single king size) was nice, with a pleasant view of the wharf behind it. The mattress and sheets were nice, and the chairs in the room were comfortable for sitting and chatting. In my room there was an electric fireplace in the corner which added some good atmosphere to the room. The staff are pleasant and helpful, and overall I would rate this a nice place to stay. Maybe not the least expensive, however you do have a sense that the extra you spend does get you some nicer features.

Busy on a Friday night, we still got a table easily and had wonderful service. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and was happy to check on a few items for us. She was attentive and always good natured despite her busy evening. The food was quite good! The ribs were excellent and even the Thai shrimp noodles were very well prepared. Broiled seafood was done perfectly. Fried oysters were good but not spectacular. I recommend trying Smithfield Station if you are in the area. The burgers are always highly rated.

Amazing experience. Food was special. Best crab I have ever had. Front desk treated us sooooo kindly. Nice simple easy to locate site that relay does a great job of making you relax and not worry about a thing. Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again and again.

Don't let the nice atmosphere and wonderful menu lul you info a false sense of security. I'm sorry that I had to give my review even one star. The restaurant food is terrible and beyond! My tuna appetizer was inedible. I wanted to send back my beef tenderloin but was too embarrassed to send it back. So instead I choked it down and paid $35. My husband has their "specialty" dish of encrusted rock fish that came right from a cardboard box. Do not let their pictures fool you. That is not the food that is served. Terrible experience was had by all.

The service and food in the restaurant and bar were great. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. I would like to go back if I am out that way again.
