Just spent 3 nights in the Smoke Hole cabins in Cabins, WV. Very nice and relaxing. My husband and I fished the streams for a couple of days. Then we finished up our last day with the fishing guide Josh Hedrick. What a blast we had. We fished the streams and ponds on their property. Josh had a great personality. He was fun and knowledgeable. I will have to go back and take some lessons. If you love to fish and relax definitely try the Smoke Hole Cabins and guide Josh.

It was a great place, we had an awesome time. The only problem was the flies. Our cabin was full of them, and it was clearly an ongoing problem because they had fly tape hanging from the ceiling. We killed in excess of 30 them, and there were still more then we could count. We really did have a good time, the flies just really put a damper on it. They were constantly pestering us, landing on us while we slept or ate, etc. Would love to see that be fixed.

My husband took me there for a Valentine's day weekend. Everything was wonderful. The cabin was nice and clean. The fire place and jacuzzi were awesome. It was just a short walk to the river.

Loved the location. Was so beautiful and peaceful. Alot of flies in the room. And the hot water in the cabin only lasted to fill hot tub 1/4 full.

The caverns are nice and staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but there was a big issue for me. Since this place is located in the mountains of W.V., I was thinking that there should be plenty of gifts in the gift shop that are made right here in the good old U.S.A. However, that is not the case at all. When we realized that EVERYTHING we picked up in the gift shop was "made in china" we opted not to make any purchases and left. If you're looking for American made merchandise this is not the place for you and we will not be back.
