Thanks to the professional staff in all areas and there compassion for each individual SNAMHS will always have a special place in my heart.  The team should be recognized for their efficient service and first class care.  This office should be a model for how our health care system should be run.

So being severly anxious and depressed and not being able to sleep, i find a mental health center called SNAMHS. Yay maybe i can finally get help! I walk in fill out papers then get called back. The chick wants to know why i think i am having troubles. I poor my heart out to the lady only for her to tell me AFTERWARDS that they can't treat me because i HAVE insurance. SHE LITERALLY TELLS ME NOTHING ELSE AND SENDS ME OUT THE DOOR. Then today i open my mail and see a bill from them saying "behavioral health screening." seriously. F you. I have to pay for someone to tell me they can't treat me because i follow the F-ing law and have insurance. SNAMHS please tell me what a behavioral health screening is and where my results are, because if it isnt someone shoeing me out the door after i cry to them about how i wanna die, i would like to know what you think it is.

Here is my review on why I love this clinic now verses my starting experience:
When I first started coming here in August 2011 I did have a doctor who just kept pushing medications on me without regard to what I was currently on. She prescribed a prescription for everything and put me on max dosages instead of altering. Needless to say, I was still having significant problems and she was cold hearted and did not care to listen to what I really had to say and where I thought I needed to help. She would also go months without seeing me even when I would express to her I really didn't feel stable was fearful of my frame of mind and with too many refills written I could have missed appointments with really no consequences. Thank god she does not work there anymore. 
I moved away from Nevada for a short time but when I returned I returned to the clinic. Now, I have the best doctor I have ever had Dr. Mark Suhany and his clinical nurse is absolutely amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients, they both take time to listen. Jessie has always looked out for me and if she thought something was off and Suhany could assist she would find me an appointment immediately. Dr. Suhany has kept my medications as low as he finds fit and alters where needed. He, also, does not pill push the way the other doctor did, instead he makes recommendations on where to try and focus in therapy. I used to think psychiatrist were all about giving a pill for this and a pill for that without addressing the true issues and without listening to where the concerns are; which has led to a much more defined and accurate diagnoses. Dr. Suhany sees me more often and write minimal refills so I am forced to not miss appointments. I could not be more thankful for the freedom and success I have been assisted with from Dr. Suhany and Jessie.

Doctors at this facility prescribe psyche meds with up to 6 refills without any regard for a physical exam lab work or patients pre existing conditions or accessment for risk of abuse by patient.  By the time a follow up is required patients are at high risk if not already suffering health issues due to poorly monitored use of drugs prescribed by doctors at this facility.
