Covering 50 acres of rolling east Tennessee countryside, The Crosseyed Cricket has 47 beautiful, wooded campsites with full hookups (30 and 50 amp), picnic tables and fireplaces.
Two bath houses with tiled floors and showers are available for your convenience, and both have adjacent laundry facilities.
Our 100 foot swimming pool and adjacent hot tub are all the more inviting because of the lovely rose bushes that surround them.
A large creek-side picnic shelter is available for group gatherings.
Because we know your campsite is your home away from home we have endeavored to make it special for you.
Some of our sites are near the pool and beside a small stream, and some are located in a grove of large hardwood and pine trees.
We think that you will find something just for you whether you're in a pop-up, trailer or motor-home.
The secluded, roomy group camp areas are well suited for scout, church or reunion camp-outs, and individual tent sites.
Water, electricity, fire rings and picnic tables help to make your stay enjoyable!

Our Picnic Shelter, Log Cabin and lakeside open Barn are all available for group or family get-togethers. Each has unique features and we're sure one will meet your needs. Contact us for rates for rental and availability of each unit. Although reservations are not accepted for campsites, reservations are required for use of these facilities.

Campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not accepted.

I have been going to the Crosseyed Cricket since I was a kid, and when I had a family of my own, I brought my kids there. It is a peaceful, quiet, serene place off the beaten path. The owners are some of the nicest people I've known, and will go out of their way to accommodate anyone. The sites are spacious, clean and well-kept. I've recommended the campground to many friends over the years, and will continue to do so.

Lived here at the Crosseyed Cricket for 4 plus years. To use a phrase from a oldie, " Nothing could be finer.....than another year at the "Cricket", quiet, you bet, but enough activity to let you, know the world is not sleeping, got extra time then spend it enjoying the wild life- deer, squirrels, rabbits, ducks, geese, and all kinds of birds. Their antics and beauty will give fresh meaning to the day. In addition the owners have a listening ear and a head full of knowledge. The grounds and walkway well maintained, babbling streams and campus so beautiful. You know what? I am going to keep on staying here and would like for you to to be our new neighbors enjoying this place made beautiful by none other than the hand of God.

We love this campground. It's always kept up and so beautiful. Pond that you can fish, very beautiful picnic areas, the swimming pool is in the shape of a fish.. with the tail for the kiddies. The owners are so nice and the caretakers are the best.. so friendly, everyone....we love going there!!!!

These people are rude and possibly racists! We paid our money for a monthly stay, moved our camper from the temporary lot to the extended living area and were told to leave in the rain, after staying only 1 night, for reasons she wouldn't even explain! She simply told us that she didn't think we were a fit for the cross eyed cricket! The low brances busted our skylight covers! This place isn't even that nice, there is junk piled up everywhere, it looks like a junkyard, the pictures on the website look nothing like it looks in person, and the whole campground smells of sewage! Stay at your own risk! Don't waste your money! (To reply to the owners comment below the only thing on my record would be speeding tickets and a misdemeanor attending a cockfighting event) Witch was told to her when asked about anything on my record I was refunded $255.00 of the $433.00 I paid for a 8 day stay she did deduct a $100.00 of the $355.00 I was supposed to pay to move in and I was told I could stay till Thursday are if I left immediately My $255.00 would be refunded other campers told me that she just didn't like me and we where the third family in 2 months that they had seen her do that to. I'm 500 miles from home working 7 days a week 12hrs a day I've got all my records and receipt I hope this was all legal because I will be contacting an attorney to see if I've been done wrong. anything on my record feel free to post. I was told you didn't have to explain why I was being ask to leave because I was being refunded my money and my camper was damaged coming in and out if I could post pictures of my camper and the trees I would.

I have lived at the cross eyed cricket campground for 7 years. It is one of the most peaceful, safe and beautiful places I have ever lived. Jim and Jean are also very helpful and two of the nicest people I have ever met. It is inexpensive and has all the amenities.
