Store seems to be reorganizing. Lack of choice and usual products. Staff are absolutely wonderful but I am very concerned over what I am seeing in the store. Wondering if they are struggling business-wise.

They don't sell items no longer ,which I al ways got over the counter ,when I dropped in for shopping.Some smaller retailers are often more flexible. They gave me better deals.l'm missing more and more imported grocerys from Europe. The Quality is much better, and the prices are not higher.That is what we figured out many times.I always buy Quality and Quantity. Because of this sometimes frustrating Experiences we do shopping much more online.( this ls my personal opinion. )

A good selection of fresh food and not too big. It is also next to the liquor store!

I just moved to town and only shopped there once. The cashier that helped was literally the most unfriendly, misserable person I've ever met. I don't even know if you can call it met since she technically didn't say one word to me. My 3 year old grabbed one of the items that had already been rung up and we're just sitting there because this cashier was clearly not going to put anything in my reusable bag, and handed it to this bitter lady and said "Here you go!" The lady snatched it out of her hand and slammed back down in the pile of stuff I was bagging. My daughter was hurt and confused and I was in shock. If you see a cashier with the biggest scowl on her face, long dyed black curly hair and freaky eyebrows, RUN. Or at least keep your children away from her. Most Sobeys are decent but in Digby I will stick to the Superstore.
