I went here to change my last name and get a new social security card. I brought my patience with me because I have heard horror stories about how long it can take at these places, but was pleasantly surprised when a gentleman greeted me at the door, pointed me in the right direction, and within ten MINUTES I was out the door. The female attendant that assisted me was pleasant and made the process painless. Maybe I got lucky, but it sure did seem like a very well-oiled machine here unlike most other government agencies that I've dealt with in the past! Props to these guys!

After trying to get a replacement ss card for my stolen card, the Hispanic lady on window 5 didn’t want to help me making the excuse that I didn’t have the right documentation; after I had already been here previously and another lady told me to bring the one paper she needed. Once I came back this other lady had a long face and didn’t seem to care nor wanted to help out. I didn’t have to wait long in line but her unwillingness to help and attitude made me have a bad experience today.

Arrived at 8:30... this was the line but I left at 9:30 so not too bad... my only complaint is the security officer.. he was rude tbh, definitely no drinks allowed... he will send u back outside to throw your drink away... which would be nice to have known before finally getting inside.... also the staff... it's a hit or miss on who is actually decent people

If you're coming to get your name changed or anything to do with a social security card, take my advice and make an appointment. I waited for over 3 hours and half of the workers had their windows closed for extended periods of time with no one getting called.

It sad that you come to a office ,and the office can’t support the amount of people they are dealing with this office needs more space and more workers! It should not be this hard to ask for some help!
