This is a very nice restaurant... It appears to be family owned, and the service is absolutely top notch.  This evening I had the Salmon kabob. See the photo attached.  It's not really a kabob but rather a very nicely prepared piece of grilled salmon.  It was paired with grilled vegetables and rice.  My wife got the chicken kabob... Hers was also good but the chicken was dryer than we would have preferred.  (That's why 4 stars rather than 5). We also shared an order of hummus that was as good as any we have ever had.  I recommend Soltan Banoo to anyone looking for great Middle Eastern food in a very comfortable setting.  We will be back for sure.

Excellent Persian food! The best customer service we've experienced in awhile! The atmosphere is stunning & cozy! The owner, a sweet, very hospitable woman from Iran, made us feel "at home" from the moment we stepped inside. We even purchased a couple necklaces that she made! We'll be back! Hope you can visit soon! You won't be disappointed!

It seems like this business has been sold to someone new because I’m not sure where these 5 stars are coming from. I travel and try different Persian restaurants nationwide in the country. THIS IS NOTHING CLOSE TO PERSIAN FOOD IN TERMS OF LOOKS AND TASTE. Being an Iranian, the atmosphere and the decor were relevant but the Kabob was absolutely terrible, dry and tasteless. Everybody’s dishes in our group were bad. I wish I could give this restaurant less than one star.

Have been here several times now. The first was date night. It has a very romantic atmosphere, great shareable apps and desserts, and the neighborhood is great for a stroll afterwards. The second time we brought my aunt and uncle. They prefer a quiet place where we can talk and aren't rushed out after our meal. The third time was with my friends visiting from out of town. The cocktails are great and they loved the food. They even made one vegan for my friend without a problem. The best part is always the staff. They make you feel like guests in their home, are super friendly, and offer great suggestions when asked. They definitely take pride in their food and want to make sure everyone's happy when they leave. Can't wait to be back.

Excellent food and service. I had one of my most memorable and delicious meals here. They always post a special deal in the Normal Height neighborhood paper as well. I love the decor too.
