Sombreros is a Mexican place I go when I want the unique taste of Sombreros. It's the first place I ever ate at when I moved to San Diego. Are there more "authentic" taco shops out there? Absolutely! But Sombreros gets major props for being unique. Large portions, decent quality and unique flavors make this place a must try.

The food here is good like most Sombrero locations but the salsa is the worst I have ever tasted. One tastes like wet socks, another like hot garbage and the last one is some what tolerable but will burn your taste buds off. I'm not quite sure how you create these horrible flavors with tomatoes, but this location has created something of a miracle??? smh

This is a low average taco shop/chain. The menu isn't very large, but the staff seems nice. There' a few salsas, the hottest one is pretty spicy.

I got the chilaquiles, which came with potatoes, beans, and tortillas. The chilaquiles are with scrambled eggs in a salsa, more sauce than I would prefer. Everything overall is just okay.

This place is great! My husband and I come here all the time. My favorite thing would have to be their carne asada burrito! Everybody here is always friendly and the food is consistently wonderful!
