Sorry but this needs to be updated once again. We are all squared away on our bill the billing department was very good to deal with once they us got on the same page. We were even afford a discount for paying in one lump sum THANKS. 

So finally all is well still don't understand the CT bill of 11K OUCH!!!

So got a update and the CT with contrast is on the bill (after many tries) at $11,347.38 NO WAY is this reasonable or fair WTH????

The in take staff was very good. The ER male nurse was deplorable and very unprofessional he felt he had to share sexual jokes with me and my wife when I mentioned this to the room nurse it was laughed off. Once in my room it was boarder line clean and attentive. The Doctor on staff was very caring and nice. The cleanliness of the ER was very poor the room was acceptable not overly clean but OK. For the most part is was acceptable but now way as good or clean as the ones we have in Iowa. We will be back next year as snow birds and if needed again we will probable go to another hospital further away to feel more comfortable.

Seen today IN THE ER, at 7:30 am. Place as EXCELLANT AS OUR BIG LEVEL ONE TRAUMA Centers . DR BEASLEY IS FANTASTIC. I'M a retired nurse of 39 years.   Snow bird from Iowa with abd pain for entire 3  weeks I've been here.  Every test done and medicine given to help my pain. Consult for tomorrow with specialist.

This review is for the Urgent Care in Gulf Shores that says URGENT CARE on the doors but is really not an urgent care. They will take your co pay as an urgent care and then bill as a non urgent care and you will get stuck with a big bill.  BEWARE They conveniently hide the sign that tells you they are really not an URGENT CARE  behind a box of tissue at the counter.

I had a great experience during my week at SBRMC. The ER was busy, but considering that, I receiving great care in a timely manner. The nurses on west wing gave me excellent care and accommodated my needs. I highly recommended this hospital & give it 5 stars.

My experience with this hospital was a lot different from what I have been reading below. I had a heart attack at my home in Orange Beach Saturday at 3am. I called 911 and the police was the first to arrive at my residents within 2 minutes of my call and followed shortly by the fire department who correctly diagnosed me with having a heart attack. The ambulance arrived soon afterwards and transported me while communicating directly to the ER with medical data to South Baldwin Emergency room. I arrived at the emergency room, I was prepped in the emergency room and moved into the “stint room” staffed by Dr.Trice team within eight in a half minutes from arrival time at South Baldwin ER. . I can’t remember the above-mentioned professional’s names but thank you from me and my family. I can remember the ICU staff. Ms. Dawn, Ms. Kayla, and Mr. Bill. You were all wonderful and very caring and took time to put my family at ease with all the questions they had. A special shout out to Ms. Dawn. I can see why you are a nurse and hope always will be. 
This was a awesome team effort by Emergency responders and South Baldwin Hospital which saved my life.
